ChineseAgent was launched in 2020 to open E-HENG's customer network to foreign high-tech companies that want to enter and grow in the Chinese market. As part of the E-HENG Group, we bring over 25 years of experience to every step — market research, strategy, outreach, sales execution, and logistics. We work with new entrants opening the Chinese market for the first time, and with companies whose current distribution channels aren't delivering.
Our company name “易恒” — pronounced E-Heng in Chinese — means adaptability with endurance or constancy. It is also used in forming “贸易”, which means trade in Chinese.
The E-HENG Group was established independently in 2000 and has spent more than two decades helping multinational companies do business in China. Headquartered on the Bund in Shanghai, it is one of the country's largest and earliest private import and export companies.
That history gives our team real depth in marketing, logistics, finance, and legal affairs — and the connections to go with it. Every client's goals and obstacles are different, so we build the service around them, not the reverse.
E-HENG's original business was import-export agency work and international logistics, which is why so many multinationals are our customers today.
